Because we are a small agency, we are able to work closely with our translators. You will find that we answer your questions quickly and our tone is relaxed and informal.

FOCUS ON QUALITY

Quality is important to COMMAS, so you won’t need to compromise on your professional pride.

DEDICATED TRANSLATOR

You will be attached to a number of client accounts. As the usual translator for these clients, you will become familiar with their products, needs and tone of voice.

DIALOGUE WITH CLIENTS

We pride ourselves on our close collaboration with our clients. You can therefore expect to receive answers to your questions about the text you are translating.

PAYMENT ON TIME

If we receive your monthly invoice at the end of a month, you will receive payment at the end of the next month. Reliable receipt of payment helps you plan.

We want this to continue, and therefore we expect that you:

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Hold at least a Masters degree in language or have many years of relevant professional experience, for instance as a lawyer.

TRANSLATION EXPERIENCE

Have at least three years’ relevant translation experience.

SPECIALIST FIELDS

Are an expert in one or more specialist fields.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Handle all information confidentially and are willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

EASY TO CONTACT

Can be contacted quickly and easily.

PROFESSIONALISM

Are able to work to a high level of detail, deliver on time and honour all agreements.

Therefore, if you hold at least a Masters degree in language or have otherwise worked with translation at a particularly high level, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Since we use translation software for most of our projects, we prioritise translators who work with translation tools such as SDL Trados Studio. As a general rule, we only ask our translators to translate into their own native language.
